Getting Started

Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install IPTVPlayer.tv on your device:

  1. Windows: Download the application from the Microsoft Store or our website. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. Apple iPad/iOS: Download the application from the App Store. The app will install automatically.
  3. Samsung TV (Coming Soon): Once available, you'll be able to download from the Samsung App Store.
  4. WebOS (Coming Soon): Once available, you'll be able to download from the LG Content Store.

Tip: Make sure your device meets the minimum system requirements before installation.

Adding Your First IPTV Playlist

To add an IPTV playlist to the application:

  1. Open the IPTVPlayer.tv application.
  2. Click on the "Add Playlist" button in the main menu.
  3. Enter your M3U/M3U8 playlist URL or select a local M3U file.
  4. Give your playlist a name (optional).
  5. Click "Save" to add the playlist.

Tip: You can add multiple playlists and switch between them easily.

Using Key Features

Managing Playlists

IPTVPlayer.tv allows you to manage multiple playlists:

  • Edit a playlist: Go to Settings > Playlists > Select the playlist > Edit.
  • Delete a playlist: Go to Settings > Playlists > Select the playlist > Delete.
  • Refresh a playlist: Go to Settings > Playlists > Select the playlist > Refresh.
  • Set default playlist: Go to Settings > Playlists > Select the playlist > Set as Default.

Using Favorites

To manage your favorite channels:

  1. While watching a channel, click the star icon to add it to favorites.
  2. Access your favorites by clicking on the "Favorites" tab in the main menu.
  3. To remove a channel from favorites, click the star icon again.
  4. You can create custom favorite groups by going to Settings > Favorites > Create Group.

Filtering Channels

IPTVPlayer.tv offers several ways to filter your channels:

  • By Category: Click on the "Categories" tab to view channels sorted by their categories.
  • By Country: Click on the "Countries" tab to view channels sorted by country.
  • By Language: Click on the "Languages" tab to view channels sorted by language.
  • Search: Use the search bar to find specific channels by name.

Using EPG (Electronic Program Guide)

To set up and use the Electronic Program Guide:

  1. Go to Settings > EPG.
  2. Enter your EPG URL (usually provided by your IPTV service).
  3. Click "Save" to load the EPG data.
  4. Access the EPG by clicking the "Guide" button while watching a channel.
  5. You can schedule reminders for upcoming programs by clicking on them in the EPG.

Tip: EPG data is usually updated daily. You can manually refresh it in the Settings.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

Here are solutions to common problems:

  • Channels not loading: Check your internet connection and verify that your playlist URL is correct.
  • Buffering issues: Try lowering the video quality in Settings > Playback > Quality.
  • EPG not showing: Verify your EPG URL is correct and try refreshing the EPG data.
  • Application crashes: Make sure your application is updated to the latest version.

Updating the Application

To ensure the best performance, keep your application updated:

  • Windows: Updates are automatically installed through the Microsoft Store or check our website for the latest version.
  • Apple iPad/iOS: Updates are available through the App Store.
  • Other platforms: Updates will be available through their respective app stores once released.
